Laura Araneda


 Laura Araneda, CEO of Hit Drilling, has more than 30 years of experience in the mining and drilling industry. A graduate of the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Doctorate of Letters, she has been recognized multiple times as one of Canada’s Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs. She is committed to leading responsible drilling operations that prioritize safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.

Diane Webber


Diane Webber is a distinguished geoscience professional with over 40 years of experience spanning private industry and government. She graduated from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology and a minor concentration in Business, combining strong scientific expertise with strategic and commercial insight.

Diane is a Professional Geoscientist with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Nova Scotia and has been awarded the distinguished title of Fellow Geoscientist of Canada in recognition of her exemplary long-term service and leadership within the profession.

Throughout her career, Diane has worked nationally and internationally, building a reputation for excellence across exploration, mining, investment attraction, industry strategy, communications, and corporate leadership. Her breadth of expertise has enabled her to contribute meaningfully to both operational and strategic initiatives in the resource sector.

In addition to her executive and technical roles, Diane has served on numerous boards and committees, reflecting her commitment to governance, mentorship, and the advancement of the geoscience profession.

Normand Bryar


With nearly 40 years of experience in the mineral drilling industry, Normand Bryar 

has built a career defined by steady progression and strategic leadership. Starting in 1987 as a Driller’s Helper, he developed a foundational understanding of field operations that propelled him through numerous key positions within the sector.His extensive expertise led him to top-tier executive roles, notably serving as Country Manager for Major Drilling Argentina from 2012 to 2021, and subsequently as Country Manager for AKD Int. Chile from 2022 to October 2023. Normand Bryar combines deep technical roots with a proven track record of management excellence in South America’s most demanding mining markets.
